I don't know honestly:) All of them were really important to me at one time or another. Some have been waiting to come out for what feels like a million years now though. My favorites tend to be the ones that make me laugh. Both of the tunes you mentioned are funny in a way and definitely anchored the album for me:) Reading through them all just now brought up some big feelings-I'm very pleased with aspects of this one. It grounded me through some tough periods and I learned a ton making it🤷🏻♂️❤️
I think lock and key will be really fun and challenging to perform. It's intense in the way cheer up is intense-musically even crazier though...maybe that's my favorite.
For me, great lyrics are poetic, creative, timeless and thought-provoking. Add some incredible harmonies on them and you've got a stew going. WD has always checked those boxes.
